Camelot Arts Club: Alemay Fernandez & The Michael Pignéguy Quartet

26 October @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm AEDT

Perth audiences are in for a rare treat as two of the Asia-Pacific’s most distinguished jazz artists collaborate for their first Perth performance together. The acclaimed Michael Pignéguy Quartet welcomes internationally renowned Singaporean vocalist Alemay Fernandez to Camelot’s intimate setting.

Fernandez brings extraordinary credentials, having performed with David Foster, Gregory Porter, and Wynton Marsalis’ Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. As the only Asian singer to perform with the world’s premier jazz orchestras including The Count Basie Orchestra and Duke Ellington Orchestra, she delivers “sultry tone and powerhouse vocals” praised by legends from Benny Golson to Randy Brecker.

The evening features two original compositions debuting live, showcasing world-class artistry spanning modern bop, soul jazz, and soaring ballads in Camelot’s renowned acoustic setting.
