Blackheath Chamber Music Festival: Blowing to the Wind
27 April @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm AEST

Now in its fifth year, the BCMF has fast become one of this country’s premier events, attracting music buffs to the idyllic Blue Mountains village. The three-day program includes a Baroque recital by American countertenor Reginald Mobley (see page 44) with Bach Akademie Australia; a program of duets pairing musicians from Australia’s leading orchestras; Diana Doherty playing Lachlan Skipworth’s Oboe Quartet and Ross Edwards’ Bird Spirit Dreaming; and a gala performance of Compassion by Lior and Nigel Westlake, both of whom will appear in conversation beforehand.
