The Sydney premiere of an internationally renowned meet-cute, this touching coming-of-age two-hander follows an unlikely pairing. Caroline, a witty chronically ill recluse, and Anthony, a headstrong jock with a sensitive side, are abruptly pulled together by a high school poetry project due the approaching morning. What follows is a series of dissecting the philosophy of Walt Whitman, the exhilarating hope and crushing nihilism inherent of young adulthood, and the gradual intertwining of two terrified young people finding a home in each other’s hearts.
