Sydney Fringe Festival: Kauboj
13 September @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm AEST

From the Wild West of Dalmatia to the high-stakes kitchens of Sydney, Kauboj is a riotous musical journey through food, family and finding your place in the world. Nominated for Best Cabaret & Music Theatre at the Sydney Fringe Awards 2024, the show returns this September to Riverside Theatres, Parramatta for two nights only.
With original music woven from Balkan folk melodies with the charming twang of country western, Kauboj is a song-cycle that gallops between comedy, nostalgia, and bittersweet ambition.
Performed by Mara Knezevic (The Hen House, Playlist), directed by Tasha O’Brien (Dangerous Liaisons, Hot Mess), co-written by Sime Knezevic (Various Characters, The Hen House) and accompaniment by Daniel Potaczala on electric guitar, this show blends stunning live music with wildly entertaining storytelling.
Saddle up for a night of music, mischief, and mouth-watering mayhem!
