The Sydney Eisteddfod Kawai Senior Piano Scholarship is a pivotal event, creating momentum for a promising young pianist as they embark upon a professional career. This highly competitive event is a chance for the pianists to perform in a world class venue and fill the space with the sound of the stunning Kawai grand piano for a total prize of $12,000.

Artists play masterpieces on a stunning Kawai Shigeru grand piano, adjudicated by leading pianists Konstantin Shamray and Kathryn Selby.

Sydney Eisteddfod gratefully acknowledges the generous support of Kawai Australia, the Estate of the late John Allison AM and the donors to the Sydney Eisteddfod Jubilee Fund who make this scholarship and the finalist awards possible.
