Adelaide Guitar Festival: Lau Noah and Lior
14 September @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm ACST

Curated by Artistic Director Slava Grigoryan, this year’s festival highlights include John Butler’s Prism tour, a double bill featuring Catalan virtuoso Lau Noah and Lior, a world-premiere extravaganza celebrating the 50th anniversary of Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti with the Southern Cross Symphony Orchestra, and an evening of storytelling by Barkindji songwoman Nancy Bates and Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung country musician Troy Cassar-Daley. Reaching across South Australia with its free On the Road concerts, the festival also hosts the prestigious Adelaide International Classical Guitar Competition.
Limelight Editor’s Choice
In a festival exclusive, Lau Noah comes to Australia for the first time. From Catalonia to New York’s most prestigious stages, Lau Noah is fast becoming known as one of this generation’s most distinctive guitarists. Praised by luminaries like Phoebe Bridgers and Jackson Browne for her masterful guitar-voice counterpoint, Noah brings her extraordinary technique to Adelaide fresh from collaborations with Jacob Collier, Chris Thile and Jorge Drexler on her celebrated 2024 LP A Dos.
Australia’s beloved Lior performs with his full band, showcasing his soaring and newest album The Blue Parade. Since bursting onto the scene with his platinum debut ‘Autumn Flow’, Lior has cemented his reputation as a guitar craftsman of exquisite skill across symphonic collaborations and intimate performances.
This is an exceptionally rare opportunity to witness two transcendent musical talents in one unforgettable evening.
