Boublil and Schönberg’s landmark musical has been thrilling audiences around the world since its 1985 London premiere. As Les Mis celebrates its 40th anniversary, Cameron Mackintosh has created a spectacular new production, specially designed for large-scale venues. It arrives in Australia with a star-studded cast. Alfie Boe and Killian Donnelly share the role of Jean Valjean, while Michael Ball and Bradley Jaden alternate as Javert. Matt Lucas plays the conniving innkeeper Thénardier, with Australia’s own Marina Prior (who played Cosette in the original Australian production) as Madame Thénardier. Plus there’s a 65-strong orchestra.

Gish as Enjolras with a cast and orchestra of over 65.
