A musical journey through atmospheric musical “postcards” by Borodin, Faure, Vivaldi, Piazzolla, Janacek and Lobbia.

Acclaimed soloist Matt Styles is joining Allegri Chamber Orchestra for this unique concert at St Patrick’s Anglican Church Mt Lawley.

Four Postcards from Perth is a multi-influenced saxophone concerto in four movements. Each postcard (movement) depicts a Western Australian landmark and is influenced by a distinctive music genres:

1) Scarborough Amphitheatre -Samba
2) Concert Hall – Classical Music
3) The Jazz Club – Jazz
4) Freo Rock -Rock
