Australian National Choral Association: Rehearsal Techniques for Beginner and Intermediate Choirs

Led by sought-after clinician, Dr Chris Kiver, as part of his Australian tour, this workshop is for early career and experienced choral conductors working with student choirs from primary through to secondary school. The workshop will focus on learning how to make the most of choir rehearsal time and will explore techniques and teaching strategies for beginner and intermediate choirs.
It is presented by ANCA (Australian National Choral Association) and NT Music School and Dr Kiver, whose expertise includes conducting and vocal pedagogy, changing voices, programming, recruitment, score study, rehearsal methodology and choral advocacy. He is a Grammy Award winner and Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Pennsylvania State University.
