Heidelberg Choral Society: Schubertiade – Celebrating Franz Schubert
4 May @ 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm AEST

In his short life of 31 years, Franz Peter Schubert’s music was limited to a relatively small circle of admirers in Vienna. Today, Schubert is considered one of the greatest composers in the history of Western classical music, and you can join with the Heidelberg Choral Society to hear a selection of music that is beautifully expressive, lyrical, passionate and soulful.
Under the baton of Peter Bandy, with Kathryn Pisani, piano, Heidelberg Choral Society and soloists present Miriam’s Victory Song, Mass No. 2 in G Major, Magnificat and selected songs.
Soloists are : Teresa Ingrilli ( soprano); Shakira Dugan (mezzo soprano); Timothy Reynolds (tenor) and Jeremy Kleeman (bass-baritone).
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear some of the most rhapsodic melodies and harmonies ever composed. Don’t miss the consummate genius that is Schubert.
