From the heart of Mparntwe/Alice Springs, GUTS Dance is known for bold, original contemporary dance created in the Central Desert. Now, they’re teaming up with choreographer Ashleigh Musk to bring SUB – a raw, immersive performance exploring our connection to the earth in a time of environmental crisis.

SUB takes audiences underground, into a world shaped by shifting soil, stone, and sound. Through powerful movement, striking visuals, and inventive use of objects and light, this performance captures the intensity of life below the surface – where pressure builds, the earth transforms, and resilience is everything.

Featuring GUTS co-founders Frankie Snowdon and Madeleine Krenek alongside Jenni Large, this all-female ensemble leads you through a hauntingly beautiful journey of survival, adaptation, and care.
