Riverside Theatres: Trent Dalton’s Love Stories
14 September @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm AEST

A hit at the 2024 Brisbane Festival, the stage adaptation of Trent Dalton’s book Love Stories is now on tour. In 2021, Dalton spent two months on a street corner in Brisbane’s CBD gathering stories on his Olivetti typewriter. Speaking to Australians from all walks of life, he asked them to tell him their love stories, some of which he then published. The creative team behind the successful stage adaptation of Dalton’s Boy Swallows Universe – director Sam Strong and writer Tim McGarry – reunited to bring Love Stories to life, with additional writing from Dalton and his wife Fiona Franzmann. Prepare to fall in love again.
