Melbourne International Comedy Festival: Wilson DIxon: Love Don’t Live Here Anymore, You Do

5 April @ 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm AEDT

Event Series (See All)

Direct from Cripple Creek, Colorado, country music legend Wilson Dixon returns to the festival circuit for the first time in years. Known to many as the greatest country singer Cripple Creek has ever produced – as well as the only country singer Cripple Creek has ever produced – whichever way you look at it, it’s a pretty good achievement.

Life of late has been “fun” for Wilson (i.e. not fun) navigating his way through the pandemic denying alt right leaning members of his own family, and dealing with his ex-wife Maureen who unfortunately ran off with another man, his neighbour, and lives next door. His horse Andrew is getting angrier by the day and dating in a small town with a very shallow gene pool has its challenges, as you can imagine.

Join Wilson for an intimate hour as he performs his brand new show.
