The Blue Room Theatre: ملعقة (mil-aa-qa)
6 May @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm AEST

Coeliac disease, a Lebanese Aunty’s warmth and a live cooking show intertwine in an experience worth savouring.
The absence of traditional flatbread changes the way we connect. Meals once shared and indulged by hand are now simply eaten with a spoon. This shift can feel isolating, as if a thread between past and present has severed.
Through humour and care, Aunty guides us through this journey of longing and adaption to reveal how feeding others can become a powerful expression of love and resilience.
