One way is to write a concerto that’ll bring down the house – so that’s exactly what Brahms tried to do. It would take years for his Piano Concerto No.1 to gain a cult following, and it’s now one of the most famous pieces of its kind. We excitedly welcome the legendary British pianist Sir Stephen Hough to play the solo.
