Peninsula Summer Music Festival: Brigid Coleridge & Kristian Chong
2 January @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm AEDT
This stunning program for violin and piano features one of Beethoven’s most elusive, stunning and original Sonatas; one of his most serene, and yet witty and extraordinarily conversational. To lead us there is an arrangement of one of Alma Mahler’s most heartfelt, timeless and rich works ‘Laue Sommernacht’; this can only be under described as ‘beautiful’! And opening this concert is one of Bach’s exciting Sonatas for violin and Cembalo. Star Melbourne born violinist Brigid Coleridge from the Merz Trio joins world renowned pianist Kristian Chong in this enticing journey.
