Perth Recital Series: Fanfares and Dances
18 October @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm AWST

Perth Recital Series presents pianists Anna Sleptsova and Tommy Seah, along with composer Lachlan Skipworth in a gala concert at the Government House Ballroom. The concert will open with the world premiere of Skipworth’s Fanfara arranged for two pianos, which was originally composed for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s 50 Fanfares project. The duo will also perform two cornerstone works for two-pianos: Mozart’s Sonata in D major is perhaps his happiest work, and was notably used in the original study of the Mozart Effect, whilst Rachmaninoff’s monumental Symphonic Dances was his last major work.
