Le Gateau Chocolat makes their ACO On The Pier debut in Raw Cacao, an exploration of intimacy and an invitation into the most hallowed of spaces; the chamber where one transitions from performer to person. Who are we when no one is watching?

Joined on piano by Australian musical theatre wunderkind, Victoria Falconer, the opera-occasional, black bearded, drag diva, Le Gateau Chocolat, will perform a specially curated song-cycle of the works that have shaped him. Lurching from pop to opera via folk song, musical theatre, disco and more… Raw Cacao is a veritable mixtape of who Gateau was, who Gateau is, and who Gateau hopes to become.
