Bowral Autumn Music Festival: Ghost

Connoisseur’s of the Piano Trio art form will surely delight in Concert #6 of the Bowral Autumn Music Festival whereby the superb talents of Vatche Jambazian(piano), Emma McGrath (violin) and Hyung Suk Bae (cello) join forces for a thrilling program.

Arrive early for the special Pre-concert Discussion (6:30pm-7:00pm – included with purchase of Concert #6 ticket) with the BAMF Artistic Director, Vatche Jambazian & Australian composer, Ross Edwards.

Following the Organ Prelude performed at 7:15pm by James Flores – Denis Bèdard’s Prelude et Toccata from Suite pour Orgue, the fabulous trio will open Concert #6 with incredibly special ‘Piano Trio (1998)’ by Ross Edwards, and concluding the first half is Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op.70, No.1 (The Ghost).

After an interval enjoying complimentary refreshments, our audience will be thoroughly engaged by György Kurtag’s Varga Bálint Ligaturaja and to conclude the evening’s incredible program, Dvorak’s Piano Trio no.4 in E minor (Dumky).
