Music for Calm and Catharsis is an album of short works written to make the listener feel. Music is so insurmountably powerful, it has the ability to raise our heart rate, make us tap our feet, smile through darkness and laugh even in the most inappropriate of settings. These works reflect the efforts of Natalie Nicolas in harnessing the technical aspects of music-creation, in order to help people feel calm and or cathartic. She shares, “I only hope that you may feel excited, happy, relaxed, relieved… whatever your body needs in the moment.”
