Adelaide Symphony Orchestra: Jupiter
14 February 2026 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm AEDT

Marking its 90th anniversary, the ASO’s first concert for 2026 is one of luminous contrasts and bold premieres. Conductor Douglas Boyd and pianist Konstantin Shamray return for Rachmaninov’s virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 2, a hallmark of late-Romantic expression. The concert also features the Australian premiere of Mark-Anthony Turnage’s Go For It, an ASO commission that promises Turnage’s signature blend of jazz, contemporary harmonies and rhythmic vitality. Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony concludes the evening, celebrated for its radiant orchestration and contrapuntal brilliance.
