Stunning German Baroque music for Easter and Pentecost by J.S. Bach and contemporaries, performed by historical chamber orchestra and singers.

Highlighting Bach’s sacred cantata Erwünschtes Freudenlicht (Light of Joy), the programme also features compositions by Pachelbel and Wilhelmine von Bayreuth written for Easter and Pentecost.

Featuring singers Bonnie de la Hunty (soprano), Katie How (alto), Kieran Lynch (tenor), and Kris Bowtell (bass); Baroque flute soloist Robin Hillier, and an ensemble of fellow leading period instrumentalists on flute, strings, harpsichord and organ.

The hour-long concert is followed by complimentary post-concert refreshments with the performers and directors, sponsored by Victory Point Wines.
