Willoughby City Council: Live at Lunch – Strumenti Barocci
29 May @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm AEST
An accomplished trio of leading Sydney musicians is joined by flautist Jane Rutter, playing early and modern flutes. Encompassing the period between the 16th and 18th centuries, Strumenti Barocci breathes new life into Baroque and Renaissance musical gems from across the Mediterranean basin. Rich, fascinating musical material by Bach, Vivaldi, Ortiz, Sanz and Telemann, presented mainly on original instruments.
Jane Rutter – Flutes & Artistic Director
Fiona Ziegler – Baroque violin, percussion
Douglas Emery – Baroque cello
Stephen Lalor – Mandolin, lute
