“The program begins with Ernst’s Polyphonic Etude No. 6, titled The Last Rose of Summer — a work that is both incredibly technically demanding and deeply musically rewarding. I’m also excited to explore Aditya Bhat’s Translation Machine for amplified solo violin, which is full of vibrant and unusual violin techniques.

The program continues with Pärt’s minimalistic Fratres, and concludes with Korngold’s brilliant Violin Concerto in D major — a dazzling work with unmistakable cinematic flair.
