Lyrebird Festival: Magic Sky
16 November @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm AEDT

Magic Sky is an enchanting and otherworldly program, featuring new works from Australian female composers for marimba and harp performed by two of Australia’s leading performers, Claire Edwardes and Emily Granger. A Hush Foundation project, Magic Sky speaks to the innate healing powers of music, reviewed as “expertly and vividly presented, occupying a rarified and alchemistic quality”.
The Lyrebird Festival returns in 2025, from Thursday the 13th to Sunday the 16th of November, celebrating the spectacular Megalong Valley with music, art, food & wine, talks & nature walks. Founded and directed by the Bowerbird Collective, and supported by Lot 101, this event brings together art, science and conservation, and includes local culinary delights, and intimate, world-class performances.
