6 December @ 3:00 pm - 5:25 pm AEDT

Famed for his operas in the Italian style, Handel turned to the oratorio as fashion and audience taste shifted. Messiah is his best-known work in the genre, a fixture on the concert stage ever since its premiere in 1742.
Handel’s ability to convey complex emotions through his music creates a timeless work of art, Its blend of lyrical beauty and dramatic intensity ensuring its position as a cornerstone of Baroque repertoire.
