Odyssey Theatre: Once Upon a Grimm Night
24 October @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm AEST

Once Upon a Grimm Night is an intimate, interactive adventure inside Old Government House, Parramatta. The border between our world and Everafter is fraying; Grimm Volkov enlists you and other wayfarers after the Narrator sets the scene to follow clues, brew potions and uncover what binds the Maiden and the Witch. Along the way you’ll speak with characters, step into heritage rooms and be drawn from scene to scene—lingering in moments that intrigue you and piecing the story together as you go. Designed for both newcomers to immersive theatre and seasoned sleuths, the experience blends gentle puzzles with heartfelt performances and handcrafted props. It’s playful, tense and unexpectedly tender—an invitation to step through the storybook and see the tale from the inside. Sessions are close‑up and richly atmospheric, with low lighting and detailed world‑building.
This project has been supported through a City of Parramatta Council Community Grant.
