Australian National Academy of Music: Recital – Alex Tsang
31 July @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm AEST

Each ANAM musician’s recital is a snapshot in time – simultaneously summarising their year of training and revealing glimpses of their future selves. What music excites them? What do they want to communicate? Hear what the next generation of virtuosi have to say, and how, in the 2025 ANAM Recital series.
Exploring the Oboe’s Expressive Evolution Through Bach, Mozart, and Dutilleux
“My program explores a range of the oboe across three distinct eras. Beginning with J.S. Bach’s Sonata in G minor, the program then moves to Mozart’s Oboe Quartet. Henri Dutilleux’s Oboe Sonata closes the program with a modern perspective on the instrument’s voice.
I’m excited for the recital, and I know it’s going to be something I’m proud of.” — Alex Tsang
