Piano+: Reuben Tsang

8 April @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm AEST

Experience the mesmerising talent of Reuben Tsang, Cairns-born piano prodigy who astounded audiences at the 2016 Sydney International Piano Competition with his renditions of Chopin and Beethoven. He was only 12 years old.

There is no doubt a stellar career awaits him. As the second youngest semi-finalist in the 2023 Competition, now aged 20, Reuben was crowned with the prestigious Nancy Weir Best Australian Pianist Prize, proudly supported by YMFA. He currently studies at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, under Natasha Vlassenko’s guidance.

Catch Reuben Tsang on the rise as he performs masterpieces by Scarlatti, Fauré, Brahms (Piano Sonata No. 1 in C major Op. 1) and Mozart (Piano Sonata No. 3 in B major K. 281).
