Adelaide Fringe: Rise and Fall
20 March @ 6:45 pm - 7:45 pm ACDT

A live audiovisual performance blending jazz, Indian classical music and visual art exploring the fragility of nature.
Created by Polish musician Karolina Beimcik and Indian visual artist Parizad D, the evening offers an immersive experience. The music weaves an improvised score featuring tabla, violin, and guitar, as the visuals portray disintegrating botanical forms by combining video art, x-rays, and scans into a cinematic journey.
Reflecting on birth, growth, decay, and regeneration, the work invites audiences to contemplate the divide between fragility and resilience and the connection between nature and human emotions.
Joining the duo for this special iteration will be Hugh Stuckey from Adelaide and other local artists, creating a unique cross-cultural collaboration.
