Wesley Music Centre: Sam Woolford and Franz Schubert – Piano music
17 January @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm AEDT

Sam Woolford is a classical pianist and composer from Coffs Harbour and is currently studying his Bachelor of Music at the Tasmanian conservatorium of music in Hobart. Sam takes his compositional inspiration from the music of the classical and romantic periods, from composers such as Beethoven, Schumann and Brahms, and is very excited to present his new compositions Allegro molto appassionato and Scherzo alongside his 2021 piece Fantasy in E minor. Paired with these will be Franz Schubert’s monumental Sonata in B flat D960, his final piano sonata and Sam’s personal favourite.
