Moonbird Festival: Saxophone and Strings at the Hub

This concert features rising star saxophonist Alice Morgan alongside members of the Bowerbird Collective performing a stunning new commission by composer Andrew Howes, as well as works by Max Richter, Alice Chance, Philip Glass and Danish folk tunes.

The Moonbird Festival returns in 2025, celebrating one of the most spectacular places on Earth, King Island, with music, art, food & wine.
Founded and directed by the Bowerbird Collective, this event brings together some of Australia’s finest musicians for a series of spellbinding concerts.
