Sydney Mozart Society: Sydney Soloists
14 April @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm AEST

This is a rare treat: virtuoso principal musicians, most more often seen in the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, perform works from the lyricism of Schubert’s song The Shepherd on the Rock and the luminosity of Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet, K581 to the drama of Dvořák’s Piano Quintet, Opus 81. This ensemble’s concerts inspire as the musicianship of first-rate performers is enhanced by the rapport of friends. Julie Lea Goodwin (soprano), Francesco Celata (clarinet) and Vivian Choi-Milton (piano) open with Schubert’s trio. Andrew Haveron (violin 1), Alexandra Osborne (violin 2), Tobias Breider (viola) and Catherine Hewgill (cello) complete the two quintets.
Don’t miss this chance to enjoy some of Sydney’s favourite operatic and orchestral performers in the intimacy of a chamber music concert and the fabulous acoustic of one of Sydney’s best chamber music venues.
