Queensland Symphony Orchestra: Symphony Under the Stars

Pack your picnic basket and enjoy this free concert of fine music as night falls over the Gladstone Marina. QSO Chief Conductor Umberto Clerici leads a program including Beethoven’s dramatic Egmont Overture and Tchaikovsky’s nostalgic Winter Daydreams. Australia’s own Benett Tsai returns as featured soloist in Saint-Saëns’ First Cello Concerto. Based in Los Angeles, he is currently studying at the Colburn School under Clive Greensmith, former member of the Tokyo String Quartet.
