The Gilbert & Sullivan Society of WA: The Mikado
30 October 2025 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm AWST

G&S WA is proud to present one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most popular works, the much-loved The Mikado.
Set at the “Japanese Native Village” Exhibition in the fashionable London suburb of Knightsbridge in 1885, this vibrant and colourful new staging will be directed by Paul Treasure (The Gondoliers, HMS Pinafore) with musical direction by Bayden Adams (Utopia Limited).
One of the world’s most famous musical comedies, The Mikado’s self-deprecating humour satirised the established social norms of etiquette and bureaucracy in Victorian England.
Don’t miss this absolute delight – a sensational night at the theatre!
