Ben Stevenson’s sumptuous production returns for its 13th and final season – the last chance to enjoy this beloved classic with its dazzling sets by Thomas Boyd and costumes by Desmond Heeley. Created in 1976 and a QB tradition since 2013, it captures all the sugar-dusted charm and storybook magic you expect: a glittering Christmas Eve, the battle with King Rat and Clara’s journey to the Kingdom of Sweets led by the Sugar Plum Fairy. Tchaikovsky’s score is performed live by Queensland Symphony Orchestra under Nigel Gaynor.
