Muses Trio: Through Stone and Light
27 June @ 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm AEST

Set within the luminous stone walls and stunning stained-glass windows of St Mary’s Anglican Church, Kangaroo Point, this concert invites you to experience music that echoes through time and space. The Australian Premiere season of Florence Price’s Piano Quintet No. 1 in A minor, a masterwork of emotional depth and lyrical beauty, sits alongside Dobrinka Tabakova’s The Stone Trail, a contemporary reflection on journey, memory, and the natural world.
In this sacred, resonant space, the interplay of stone, light, sound, and the words of guest speaker Ed le Brocq creates an illuminated musical tapestry. Muses Trio is joined by guest artists Sonia Wilson (violin, QSO), Rebecca Seymour (violin, QSO), Nicole Greentree (viola, QSO), and Trish Dean (cello, Ensemble Q).
