Following our successful productions of In a Little Room and Mad For You, Ad Hoc Theatre in association with the Sydney Actors Studio presents a revival of David Allen’s award winning play about DH Lawrence and his wife Frieda during the time they spent in Australia in the 1920s. Very much outsiders in a country whose conventions – at that time – are mostly at odds with their own free-thinking outlooks, they pursue their own tempestuous relationship with almost total disregard for how they may appear to their neighbours – resulting in a cultural clash of characters both moving and amusing.
