West Australian Symphony Orchestra: WASO Chorus Sings – Duruflé’s Requiem

17 March @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm AWST

The WASO Chorus returns to St Mary’s Cathedral for a concert of sublime French masterworks.

Duruflé’s Requiem is poignant and beautiful, an exquisite combination of plainsong and heavenly melodies. Composed when he was just nineteen, Gabriel Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine is deeply moving, with yearning melodies soaring over lush harmony.
