Celebrating its 13th year, this incredible festival will be returning to Eastern Arrernte Country from May 3rd-5th. The WOS team invites you to journey to the heart of the Tjoritja/MacDonnell Ranges for a vibrant showcase of music, arts, and performance. Embracing both traditional and contemporary desert culture, this festival celebrates creativity, connection, and the indomitable human spirit.

WOS is held at Ross River Resort, a scenic hour drive from Mpwartne / Alice Springs and has been attracting audiences to this stunning desert paradise hideaway for 11 years. The venue hosts cabins, showers, shady River Red Gums, epic views, a well-stocked licensed bar and even a pool… Warm days, Cool nights. Just perfect.

Our festival grounds at Ross River Resort, just an hour’s drive from Mpwartne/Alice Springs, will immerse you in a stunning desert paradise. This picturesque setting has been home to the festival since the first event in 2009, and includes showers, the historic Homestead, shady River Red Gums, a refreshing pool, licensed bar and breathtaking camping under the dazzling stars. This venue is the perfect setting to dance the night away with friends old and new.

From cutting-edge electronic beats to soulful live performances and global sounds, WOS presents an eclectic line up of talented musicians, DJs, and producers. The Arts, Performance, and Workshop program will captivate and delight; featuring burlesque, cabaret, spoken word, panel discussions, dress-up parties, a dedicated kids’ space, workshops, projections, exhibitions, and interactive installations that will thrill the senses and warm the heart.
