Across the globe, Grace Williams’ Penillion is a lush reminiscence on Welsh traditions, as honeyed brass sing soaring folk melodies. Borodin’s soul stirring Polovtsian Dances, rich with an ancient folk tradition, drives to an exhilarating finish.
