Queensland Symphony Orchestra: Firebird
Pianist Piers Lane makes a welcome return to Australia, joining the QSO to perform Liszt’s Piano Concerto No 1 under the baton of Elena Schwarz. Schwarz also leads the orchestra in Stravinsky’s 1919 suite from The Firebird and the overture to Weber’s Der Freischütz.
