APRA AMCOS and the Australian Music Centre has announced that the 2025 Art Music Awards will be hosted on 21 August at Sydney’s newly revamped City Recital Hall.
This year marks its 14th edition and will be hosted by ABC Classic presenter Vanessa Hughes, alongside tar virtuoso and composer Hamed Sadeghi and Yuwaalaraay musician and writer Nardi Simpson.
Canberra-based guitarist and composer Sia Ahmad returns as Music Director, and the finalists will be revealed on 17 July.

“The Art Music Awards marks the pinnacle of those achievements and honours those who work with belief and relentlessness to support and produce outstanding work.”
The Awards comprise 15 different categories for Australians breaking ground in the fields of contemporary classical and experimental music, improvisation and sound art.
