YouTube sensation 2CELLOS will visit three cities with their second album in May.

The YouTube phenomenon 2CELLOS have announced a three city tour of Australia this May. The musical duo look set to visit Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Young Croatian cellists of the 2CELLOS, Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, have achieved success with their genre-bending performances that cross between classical and film music to pop and rock. Sulic is a graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Music and has won several international competitions, while Hauser has performed with fellow cellist Mstislav Rostropovich, won no less than 21 prizes in international competitions and graduated from Manchester’s Royal Northern College of Music.

Together they rose to international fame in 2011 after their version of Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal went viral online and went on to sign with Sony Masterworks. Their second album IN2ITION featured guest artists Lang Lang, Elton John and Naya Rivera and was produced by Bob Ezrin and released in January 2013.

Apart from maintaining their online presence the pair’s focus centers on playing live. They have toured worldwide with Elton John and last year they performed with Lang Lang to over 1 billion viewers alongside at the CCTV New Year’s...
