Season Preview: Your guide to the arts in 2024

Embracing its recent structural changes, the Australia Ensemble has announced its 2024 season.

“In 2024, the Australia Ensemble UNSW turns a page to enter a new era, where we simultaneously honour our established past while pioneering a future path,” said Artistic Chair Paul Stanhope. “Our four-concert program celebrates some exciting new performers with an international presence who will complement our highly acclaimed continuing ensemble members.”

In October, Australia Ensemble announced that three of its long-serving members – violinist Dene Olding, violist Irina Morozova and pianist Ian Munro – would be stepping down from performance. Morozova is a foundational member of the ensemble, having performed in its first season in 1980; Olding joined the ensemble in 1982, and Munro in 2000.
