The Bendigo Chamber Music Festival has announced its 2026 program. Running from 4–8 February, the festival’s seventh edition presents a diverse lineup of repertoire and performers, bringing together rising star international artists alongside celebrated Australian – and Bendigo-born – talent.

“The 2026 program offers a rich mix of music: iconic works by Beethoven, Brahms, Bach and Haydn sit alongside rarely heard pieces by Smyth, Novak, Martiů, Villa-Lobos and leading Australian composers,” write Co-Artistic Director Chris Howlett and Howard Penny. “As always, BCMF unites an extraordinary range of artists and repertoire in Bendigo’s beautiful venues, with the warmth, energy and distinctive atmosphere that make this festival so special.”
As the BCMF continues its partnership with London’s Young Concert Artist Trust, the 2026 program features two international rising stars: Brazilian violinist Nathan Amaral and British double bassist Will Duerden.
