SeasonPreview: Your guide to the arts in 2025

The Bendigo Chamber Music Festival (BCMF) returns for its 6th edition, running from February 5 to 9, 2025.

Building on the success of last year’s event, the festival offers five days-worth of world-class chamber music performances in the heart of Bendigo.

The 2025 festival will welcome performers from across the globe, including a collaboration with the prestigious Young Concert Artists Trust (YCAT) London. Violinist Charlotte Saluste-Bridoux, winner of the 2021 YCAT Grand Prize, and pianist Ignas Maknickas will perform exclusively at BCMF, representing the next generation of classical music stars.

Australian talent will be equally prominent, with soprano Alexandra Flood returning from the Volksoper Vienna for a special performance.

Festival co-directors Howard Penny and Chris Howlett have also gathered a distinguished roster of Australian chamber musicians, including Brigid Coleridge, Justin Williams, Lloyd Van’t Hoff, Louisa Breen and Peter Luff.
