
Bowral Autumn Music Festival has announced its 2025 season, the second under the artistic direction of pianist Vatche Jambazian. In 2025, he turns the spotlight on the richness of Australian music, he tells Limelight.
“We’re presenting six concerts from 27–30 March, featuring some of Australia’s most sought after artists,” says Jambazian. “Next year’s festival highlights the diversity of the Australian music scene.”

As resident pianist with Omega Ensemble, Jambazian is quite the sought-after musician himself and to open the festival, he joins with “one of Australia’s finest baritones”, 
David Greco, to tackle Schubert’s 
Winterreise.
“Winterreise, as with performing any Schubert, is always a challenge for any instrumentalist because of his unique musical language – but what’s really rewarding is performing a work such as Winterreise with David Greco who brings the text to life!” says Jambazian.
“We’re always discovering new elements to the work every time we’ve performed it and that’s what is most exciting about it.”
