Bundanon has unveiled the full list of artists and researchers who will take part in its 2026 Artists in Residence program, the largest and longest-running initiative of its kind in Australia.
The program, now entering its fourth decade, offers creatives from across Australia and abroad time and space to develop new work in Bundanon’s secluded studios on the Shoalhaven River.
This year’s selection includes more than 100 individual artists, collectives and researchers working across the visual arts, literature, performance, dance, music and environmental science.
Bundanon CEO Rachel Kent said the 2026 program “continues to uphold Bundanon’s core commitment to cultural production across all disciplines” and underlines the organisation’s support for artists through free residencies that prioritise diversity and accessibility.

A record 504 applications were received, with successful residents coming from 24 countries.
