Create NSW has announced the recipients of the second round of its 2023–24 Arts and Cultural Funding Program.

A total of $7.7m in funding has been granted to 131 programs and projects set to employ more than 10,000 creative and cultural workers across the state.

Parramatta’s River City Voices has received $140,000 towards the development of its 2025 Artistic Program and capacity-building initiatives.

The Association of NSW Regional Conservatoriums, comprising of 17 regional institutions, also received $70,000 in funding for the Regional Youth Orchestra. 

Among the music organisations receiving project funding is Bach Akademie Australia, granted $58,000 to fund its 2024 program and a tour from July–December.

Theatre organisations receiving annual funding include New Ghosts Theatre Company (currently helming the programme at the Old Fitzroy Theatre; $200,000), Marrickville’s Red Rattler Theatre for its Future Communities Arts program ($200,000), Burrundi Theatre for its 2024 program ($170,000), and KXT on Broadway ($150,000).
